PIMEX is a method, in order to make burdens on the job visible. The observation of operational sequences in combination of video and measuring data opens many possibilities of the analysis and solution identification. PIMEX is however not only a method to visualize burdens on the job, but offers also the possibility of connections of different burdens and the specific stress for working humans recognizably and explainable.

A goal of the PIMEX method is the visiualize expositions and burdens to estimate demands on the job, as well as recognizing the connection of concrete work execution, conditions of work and the personal maximum stress of working humans. After the connection between burden and a cause was recognized, measures can be derived for avoidance together with the person employed, who are settled in the ranges organization, technology and humans.


The PIMEX principle

The Pimex method designates the synchronous collection and visual representation of working place loadings and of medical data of persons employed in real time. A work routine is be filmed with a video camera, simultaneous over directindicating measuring instruments arising loads (like air pollutants, noise, heat, etc..) and in addition medical data (skin conductance, heart frequency, etc..) are recorded and are stored together with the video synchronously. The data are at any time callable and are available for further analyses. By the possibility to set exposition processes directly into connection with the momentary activity of the person employed, let recognize the connections between the work routine, which prevailing burdens in addition, the specific demand and derive measures against peak concentrations.

The persons employed are the experts

With application of the PIMEX method it becomes clear that the persons employed have even the best ideas for the improvement of their work situation. They must be usually only motivated to think about it. On the basis of the PIMEX method the persons employed receive by the visualization of the burden situations on their job the possibility to recognize connections between their behavior and the height of the loads too.

Motivation through participation

On the one hand by the visualization of the burdens and on the other hand by transparency at the time of the execution of the PIMEX method, also a better access results to the persons employed, who are motivated to bring their own experiences into the solution process. On the other side PIMEX is also a medium for responsible persons and decision maker of an enterprise. On the basis of the accomplished PIMEX observations the use of the attainable improvements becomes clearly which can be documented.

PIMEX is more than a method for visualizing of dangers and for the estimate of endangerments. PIMEX is communication. With and by PIMEX quickly all involved ones and above all the persons employed can be merged into the operational improvement process.

On the basis of the PIMEX method the persons employed receive by the visualization of the burden situations on their job the possibility of recognizing connections. The knowledge and the experiences of the persons employed can be brought into the solution process. With application of the PIMEX method it becomes clear that the method promotes the motivation of all involved ones to develop good ideas for the improvement of the work situation and also carry these.
