The 8th International IOHA Conference takes place at the Urbaniana University in Rome.
The KOHS contribution describes an ergonomic planning and design process to prevent musculoskeletal disorders developed within the international research project HERIVIS.
By means of case studies the methods for interaction with the involved persons and ergonomic assessments got described. Finally an innovative instrument for analysing body and motion movement to assess working systems and their impact on musculoskeletal health got introduced. This innovative instrument is based on sonometry for exact measurement of movements of the musculoskeletal system and secondly the PIMEX method for visualising body movements as well as working processes.
